Bring your creativity and a pumpkin (the flatter the top the better: one large 8-10” in diameter or several small 3” pumpkins) and choose from a large variety of locally-raised succulents for a new take on a seasonal centerpiece you can enjoy and later re-pot as houseplants!

$30 includes one beverage, instruction, succulents and craft supplies will be furnished.

Beer, cider, wine, kombucha, root beer and other non-alcohol options are available.

Pre-registration is required. Workshop is for all ages.

Choose from a variety of unique succulents perfect for a sunny indoor location and an assortment of decor options to make your vision come to life - the possibilities are endless!

Hands-on plant workshop

Take a crash course with a beverage on us and learn the history and principles of Japanese floral design, ikebana. Create your own masterpiece and customize it with accessories to make the flowers come alive!

Students are encouraged to bring their own Ikebana container (vase, low dish, base needs to be wider than 3”) as well as garden pruners and gloves . Extra pruners and gloves are available and some containers will be available for additional purchase.

Students are encouraged to bring their own plant material as well, anything fun and fancy you’d love to show off? bring it!

Bring your own container and fill it with a fun selection of outdoor sedum, hens and chicks. These succulent plants are hardy and easy to care for, love full sun and require little watering.
